SLI Leaders Presenting at SEED Grantee Conference

SLI leaders Cynthia Greenleaf, Mira-Lisa Katz, and Mary Stump will be presenting about how SLI uses data for program improvement at a Supporting Effective Educator Development (SEED) grantee conference in Washington D.C., May 23-24, 2016. Two SEED grants from the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Innovation are funding Reading Apprenticeship research and dissemination in seven states, creating thousands of more effective teachers and more engaged, independent students. SLI uses formative and summative data to inform our model, working closely with both educators and researchers to see what literacy, inquiry, and social-emotional learning practices are making the most difference for educators and students.
